Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using CVCore. By creating an account or using any part of the platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of CVCore (the "Service"), operated by CVCore ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 16 years of age and agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2. Description of service

CVCore is an AI-powered job application platform that helps users create tailored CVs, cover letters, and interview preparation materials. The Service includes CV tailoring, application tracking, analytics, and related features as described on our website. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

3. Account registration

To access most features you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration and to keep your account credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service without our written consent
• Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of our content without permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

5. AI-generated content

CVCore uses AI to help you tailor CVs and generate cover letters. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before submitting it to employers. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content and accept no liability for decisions made by employers based on materials you submit.

6. Subscription, billing and refund policy

CVCore offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. Pro subscriptions are billed monthly. Payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record, who handles all payment processing and tax compliance. By subscribing to Pro, you authorise Paddle to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access to Pro features continues until the end of the current billing period. We offer refunds within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked.

7. Fair Use Policy

To ensure a high-quality experience for all users and maintain the sustainability of the platform, Pro plan subscribers are subject to a fair use policy on AI-powered features. While we describe Pro as offering generous access to CV tailoring and related features, we reserve the right to apply reasonable usage limits to accounts that exceed normal usage patterns. In practice, the vast majority of users will never encounter these limits. As a guideline, Pro subscribers may perform up to 100 AI-powered CV tailoring runs per calendar month. If your usage approaches or exceeds this threshold, you will receive a notification within the app. At that point, please contact us — we are happy to discuss your needs and accommodate legitimate high-volume use cases. This policy exists solely to prevent automated abuse and to ensure fair access for all subscribers. It is not intended to restrict genuine job seekers.

8. Intellectual property

The CVCore platform, including its design, code, and original content, is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your profile data, CVs, and uploaded content remain yours. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process and store your content solely to provide the Service to you.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or suitable for any particular purpose. Using CVCore does not guarantee employment outcomes.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CVCore shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sweden.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the platform. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
